NAPIA sponsored meetings and events provide education and networking opportunities for public adjusters and other first-party property insurance claims professionals. The Association is an approved provider of continuing education (CE) credits for public adjusters in 25 states. For a list of states click here.
Annual Meeting
Usually held at a resort location, the three-day June convention offers up to 8 continuing education credits recognized by 27 state insurance departments. In addition to education sessions, the agenda includes many social activities and events open to all members, guests, family and vendors.
Mid-Year Meeting / First Party Claims Conference
Held in early December, just ahead of the start of FPCC, the Mid-Year Meeting (MYM) is for members only. It includes a business luncheon and evening reception.
The First Party Claims Conference (FPCC), open to everyone in the first-party property insurance claims community, begins at the close of the Mid-Year Meeting and showcases up to 30 insurance topics and 40 knowledgeable presenters. Attendees can select their sessions, which are approved for up to 15 CE credits (Number of credits offered subject to change annually. CEs are offered on a packaged all-or-nothing basis). FPCC also features networking opportunities during the trade show, receptions, meals, and breaks.
First Party Claims Conference West - Not being held in 2025.
Held in the Los Angeles area in March, the two-day FPCC West education program provides up to 8 CE credits.
